For the receipt of short and feature films and pitch competition projects.

Overview of Submission Requirements:
Submissions: In order to be considered for Eerie Horror Fest selection, both the online entry form and the selection screener must be received between December 1, 2022 and July 31, 2023. A successfully completed submission does not guarantee inclusion of the film in our festival program.
Submission Fees: Please view film categories and associated fees in conjunction with deadline pricing at filmfreeway.com/eeriehorrorfest.
Date of Film Completion: After July 31, 2021. Re-submissions are not eligible.
Film Categories & Running Times: Narrative Feature with a runtime of 50 minutes or more; Narrative Short with a runtime of less than 50 minuties; Documentary Feature with a runtime of 50 minuties or more; Documentary Short with a runtime of less than 50 minutes.
Pitch Competition: Submit the first 5 pages of your Narrative Feature Script and your full Pitch Deck. Optional submissions: Proof of Concept Video, Look Book, or Stills. Written submissions must be in English. If a video is in a language other than English, please include English subtitles. You will need to provide us a private link (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) to view your materials. Finalists must pitch in person to a panel of industry judges.

Competition & Awards:
Accomodations: Each selected feature film and pitch competition project will receive hotel accommodations for the duration of the festival (1 free room per film/project).
Best of the Fest Award: $1,000 cash awarded to best Feature or Short Narrative or Documentary film. Plus a "Skullie" award designed by "Monster" Mark Kosobucki.
Pitch Competition Winner: Consulting package from Blood Oath: 2 sessions/1 hour each to discuss the project and give development notes with the possibility of becoming a Blood Oath project. Plus a "Skullie" award designed by "Monster" Mark Kosobucki and a 4 month pro membership subscription on InkTip.
New Blood Award: Awarded to a First-time Feature or Short film director(s) - "Skullie" award designed by "Monster" Mark Kosobucki.
Best Feature Award: "Skullie" award designed by "Monster" Mark Kosobucki.
Best Short Award: "Skullie" award designed by "Monster" Mark Kosobucki.
Eerie Horror Fest's Pitch Competition finalists will receive a prize package from InkTip that includes four months of their Pro membership. With over 400 movies made from scripts and writers found through InkTip, this is a great resource for emerging screenwriters to promote themselves and their scripts to a large network of producers and reps.
