Screening Judge Application
Apply to help the Eerie Horror Fest decide which submissions are selected to screen!
Do you have a critical eye and love discussing what makes a movie truly terrifying, thrilling, or weird as hell? We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team of judges to help us discover the best in indie horror from around the world.
Judges should be committed and willing to watch many horror films year-round (not just in October) and be able to judge the films based on merit (not their own taste). They should have strong opinions about what makes a good genre film, be excited about indie or international horror, and be able to articulate thoughts clearly, whether they’re praising or critiquing the film.
Judges will receive one pass to the Fest.
Responsibilities
Watch and judge at least 5 films per month during open submission season.
Contribute ratings and reviews for each film you watch.
Ensure films meet EHF submission guidelines.
